Salt Therapy

The Salt Cave was designed to help you leave your worries behind with soft golden lighting from the Himalayan Salt, peaceful music, and comfortable lounge chairs.

Aside from the already rich Himalayan Salt, a salt generator crushes pharmaceutical-grade salt into micron-sized dry aerosol particles that are inhaled. Dry Salt Therapy, also known as Halotherapy, benefits adults and children alike as well as athletes and animals. Halotherapy is beneficial for overall wellness by removing the toxicity from the respiratory system, improving the function and appearance of the skin, and boosting the immune system.

Our cave has a high microbial cleanliness, free from fungi, pollen, dust mites, and bacteria; as salt naturally inhibits their development.

A majority of people who include Halotherapy in their wellness routine may find relief from a variety of respiratory conditions such as Asthma, allergies, common cold, and bronchitis. COPD, cystic fibrosis, sinusitis, ear infections, smokers cough.

Salt Therapy Sessions

Salt therapy sessions start at the top of the hour. Though walk-ins are welcome, sometimes the cave is reserved for other events.

Arriving promptly for your session is imperative, as once the session has begun, out of respect for those already enjoying the effects, we do not interrupt the session that has started. If you cannot arrive on time, we will need to reschedule for the next available opening.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing to ensure a relaxing session.  It is necessary to wear clean white socks. The temperature in the cave is a cool 70 degrees. You are welcome to bring a blanket.

NO cellphones or electronics are permitted in the cave. We are more than happy to hold them behind the front desk if you can’t leave them at home. Once the session has started the cave becomes a quiet zone.

NO food or drink in the cave. There is water available before and after your session.

All sessions are open to the public. The age limit for our public salt cave is 16 years and up. See our Events page for Kid’s Cave.
